Software Development Process

Software development process

As the nature of Infocrat software development activities a mix development methodology is followed. Activities are separated into major types; (a)inhouse product development and (b) outsourcing software development projects. In general we follow incremental iterative development methodology which is catered by prototype based faster development sometimes.

Requirement collection phase

In this stage, target system business context, use cases and functional details are recorded in a large aspect of business operations. The target system Context Diagram, SOP, Use Case documentation, primary estimation (time and money) are revealed.

Business system analysis

In this phase users requirements are agreed and freezed with stakeholders. The outcome of this phase are Business Blueprint (BBP), systems functionalities, control mechanism and reports. An accurate estimation is also accomplished in this phase.

Software development / construction

This is where the actual software product development begins. Software system design, coding and construction works are performed in this stage. There are many testing activities, and iterations with user feedback before the final release of the software product.

Product release

The actual software product is ready with legacy data and trained users pool for go-live operations. After go-live (or deployment) there is a certain period before the cutover phase of the newly deployed system.

Project Management

Here in Infocrat, project management and task management activities are equipped with various tools ranging from classical spreadsheet to modern popular project management applications. Projects (or tasks) progress monitoring and necessary initiatives are taken in every stage of the project lifecycle.

Support Service management

The Support Service department is responsible for tracking users' issues. Issues are resolved by a collaborative team work with the Software Development department. Support department also ensures that the issues have been resolved appropriately, deployed into the production server as well as concerned users and has accepted the solutions.
